AJ and Ted may be retired from their day jobs, but they are not ready to stop being useful. After years of fixing, building, maintaining and improving things around their own homes—and helping family, friends and neighbours do the same—they wanted a way to stay active, share what they know and spend part of retirement doing work they genuinely enjoy.
This is not about turning retirement into another full-time job. It is about taking on a manageable number of projects each week, meeting people close to home, solving practical problems and helping neighbours get through the jobs that have been sitting on their lists.
Every job starts with a conversation and a free estimate. If it’s a fit with our experience and can be done safely, we will explain how we can help. We focus on practical, everyday work. If the job needs a licensed trade, we will let you know—and often point you to someone good.

We don’t take on electrical, gas, structural, roofing, work at height, hazardous materials, major plumbing or permit-required work. Those jobs belong with a licensed trade, and we’re happy to refer you to one.
